We originally featured Kristen + Todd's wedding in our Summer/Fall 2012 issue! The couple wanted a wedding day that was infused with beauty and as many local finds as possible, and with a minimal impact on the environment. Here are just a few ways they made it happen:

• Place Cards and Menu Cards were made from 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds
• Ring bearer pillows were hand made by the bride's mom, using silk from her own wedding gown
• Apple were picked from the Kristen + Todd's yard, dehydrated and bagged for guests as favors
• Décor was created by friends; one friend created a willow arch for the ceremony, and two bridesmaids created clusters of lanterns, curly willow and shimmery ribbon to decorate the reception
