For her latest bridal collection, designer Ines Di Santo hit all the right notes to bring her springtime designs to life. Elements of fresh foliage alongside a whimsical butterfly theme gave the line a youthful and ethereal aura. The collection showcased the designer's exploration of various fabrics including delicate Chantilly lace, airy tulle and supple satin. Textured detailing also added a touch of drama to classic designs, with elaborate embroidered bodices and ruffled, full skirts reminiscent of cascading vines and blossoming botanical gardens. Adhering to her spring inspiration, Di Santo injected colour throughout her designs, which saw gowns adorned in watercolour hues of champagne, pink and blue. Detachable overskirts in tiered Guipure and Alençon lace gave gowns a unique flare and an element of versatility, while also adding to the collection's sense of renewal. Di Santo's butterfly motif was highlighted through her use of sheer paneling and intricate embroidery, evoking the imagery of delicate insect wings. The collection's botanical aesthetic also flourished, with several dresses boasting illusion detailing, golden leaf lace embroidery and pearl embellishments. Di Santo left no silhouette or hemline unexplored, showcasing stunning larger-than-life ball gowns encrusted with crystals and pearls, sultry fit-and-flares, sleek sheaths and even dresses donning asymmetrical hemlines for a perfect springtime alternative. Standouts from the collection included an opulent tulle ball gown embellished with gold leaf patterns and a blush-toned frock with a high-low hemline, ruffled train, lace bodice and pearl capped sleeves.
